It creeps in slowly. The TV gets a little louder every year. You ask people to repeat themselves, then stop asking and just nod along instead. You sit a bit quieter at the table because following the chatter is exhausting, so you stop trying.
It's not that you don't care. You're missing half of what's said, and pulling away feels easier than asking "sorry, what?" one more time. You're not alone, and it isn't your fault.
Certus One brings the voices back: your partner, your friends, the person beside you. Instantly, invisibly, and without a clinic, an appointment, or the thousands a prescription pair costs.
Everyone else in the room gets blasted out while you still miss half the dialogue.
Bulky, whistly, one-volume-fits-all boxes that make every sound louder, not clearer.
Pretending to follow along is exhausting, and it slowly pulls you out of the conversation altogether.
Certus One's ClearVoice™ SpeechLift System lifts the voice in front of you and pushes background noise down, at a fraction of a prescription price.
The 3-stage sound engine built into every pair of Certus One, designed to push speech forward and push noise back.

A tiny built-in microphone catches the voices and sounds around you: the conversation, the phone, the TV.
The ClearVoice™ chip pushes speech to the front and pulls background hum and whistle down, so you hear the words, not the room.
Clear, comfortable sound goes straight into your ear at the volume you choose. No straining, no “sorry, what?”
A certified OTC hearing aid, built for mild-to-moderate everyday hearing loss. Real hearing aid technology, not a gimmick, and 1,638 verified reviews back it up.
You deserve to feel like yourself in every conversation, not like you're one step behind it.
You catch what was said the first time, instead of guessing or asking someone to repeat it.
Dinners, calls and quiet chats stop being something you sit through and start being something you take part in.
At 2g and tucked inside your ear canal, they're yours to mention or not. Most people never notice.
Clearer everyday hearing without appointments, waiting lists or a four-figure bill.
Sound either includes you or quietly leaves you out. Here is what changing that feels like, with 90 days to prove it risk-free.
You notice speech separating from background hum within the first few minutes of wear.
Conversations at normal volume start landing the first time, not the second or third.
Dinners, calls and group conversations feel worth joining again instead of exhausting to follow.
Certus One becomes part of your day instead of a device you think about. Which is the entire point.

Built-in noise reduction lifts the voice you're trying to follow and softens the clatter behind it.
An invisible-in-canal fit that sits hidden inside your ear, just 2g and smaller than your fingertip.
Pop them in the pocket case. A full charge lasts 16 hours, with up to 60 total hours of hearing on the go.
We left out the finicky apps and Bluetooth pairing on purpose. One button sets your volume and mode. Built for people who just want to hear, not manage another gadget.
Fair question, most bad amplifier experiences come down to a poor seal and crude processing. Here is the honest answer.
Most whistling comes from a poor seal and crude amplifiers. Certus One uses noise-reduction processing and a snug fit to keep the sound clean.
These lift everyday speech and sound to a comfortable, clearer level. We are upfront that they are not for profound loss, which keeps expectations right.
A loose fit is the number-one cause of whistling. Included standard and anti-whistling tips help you find a comfortable, secure seal.
Wear Certus One at home for 90 days: three months of dinners, calls and TV. If it is not right for you, send it back for a full refund.
Years spent fitting prescription hearing aids in clinic. Certus One is the first certified OTC pair under $350 she tells her own patients to actually try.
“In clinic, I fit hearing aids every day, and the question is always the same: does the processing lift speech, or does it just make the whole room louder? Certus One’s ClearVoice system genuinely does the former, and the invisible fit removes the biggest reason patients stop wearing their hearing aids every day: feeling seen wearing them.”
Same goal: hear every word again. Three very different bills.
Hearing tests, fittings and follow-up appointments. The right route for severe or complex loss, and a very big bill for everyday mild-to-moderate loss.
Original Medicare does not cover hearing aids, and most insurance plans pay little or nothing toward them. Either way, most of that clinic bill usually lands on you.
A certified OTC hearing aid for mild-to-moderate loss. At your door in days, in your ears in 2 minutes, with 90 days at home to prove itself.
90-day money-back · 2-year guarantee · Free US shippingBetween HSA and FSA dollars, Medicare Advantage hearing allowances and the VA, many people get money back on their hearing aids. Some pay nothing at all. Here is how, in plain English.
Pay with your HSA or FSA card at checkout like any other card, or submit the itemized receipt we email with every order for reimbursement. Using pre-tax dollars effectively lowers the price by your tax rate.
Original Medicare pays $0 toward hearing aids. That is written into the law. Some Medicare Advantage plans include a hearing allowance, and your itemized receipt works for those claims too. Certus is priced so it does not matter either way.
If you served, check the VA first: eligible veterans receive hearing aids and batteries at no cost. We would rather tell you that than sell you a pair you could have had for free.

Certus One in real life
Ive rewritten this review three times over a month. The facts: television better, telephone somewhat better, one on one in a quiet room better. Group conversation no improvement I can measure, and outdoors in wind they're actively worse than nothing. My loss sits right at the line between moderate and severe, which I suspect is the explanation, and my doctor said as much when I saw him after the fact. Three stars because they genuinely helped in the house and I'm keeping them, but somebody in my situation should read a middling review as well as the glowing ones.
she moved in last January and the staff told us she was withdrawing, wasn't going to activities, ate in her room. We assumed that was the direction things were going. She has significant hearing loss and had turned down hospital aids twice over the batteries. A nurse puts these in for her at breakfast now. Six weeks later she's eating in the dining room and going to the singing hour. I'm not claiming a pair of hearing aids fixed dementia. I'm saying a good part of what we'd chalked up to her mind was that she couldn't hear the woman across the table.
He'd been getting quieter for about three years and I didn't put it together. He stopped going to the Elks with his brother, then he stopped calling his sister in Florida, then at Thanksgiving he sat at the end of the table and said maybe ten words all afternoon. He isn't a man who discusses things. I ordered these and left them on his dresser with the card. He said nothing for two days and then he was wearing them. Last week he called his sister and they talked for an hour and a half.
One, if you get a whistle it's the tip size, try the next one up before you assume anything is broken. Two, give the sound four or five days before you judge it, everything is sharp at first and it does settle. Three, charge the case at the same time you charge your phone so it becomes one habit instead of two. Four, use the little brush once a week, it takes thirty seconds and I've had zero wax problems. Five, they're for mild to moderate loss and they're honest about that!
I like them and I'd buy them again, but the five star reviews on here are a little breathless so here's the measured version. The comfort is genuinely excellent and I forget they're in my ears. The sound is clear rather than just amplified, which is the real difference from cheap amplifiers. The phone is dramatically better. Where they fall down is anywhere with real background noise, and the charge indicator is nearly invisible in daylight. Four stars, no regrets
I've read reviews on here about people weeping on the phone with thier daughters and hearing birds for the first time in a decade. Mine is duller than that. I could hear all right, I was missing consonants, and I had the television louder than my wife wanted. I ordered these, they showed up in three days, and now the TV is at her volume and I catch what people say in the car. No tears, no revelation, just a two hundred dollar thing that does what it says.

No app. No account. No appointment. Out of the box to clearer sound in three steps.
Charge the aids in the case with the included USB-C cable until the lights show full.
Choose the soft ear tip that fits best and gently pop an aid into each ear.
Set the volume to a comfortable level. That's it. You're hearing clearly.

No confusing apps, no mandatory subscription, no clinic visit. Charge them, pop them in, and start hearing more clearly the same day.
For people tired of nodding through conversations they missed.
Order today and wear them at home for three full months: at the dinner table, on the phone, in front of the TV. If they're not right for you, return them any time within 90 days for a full refund. No questions, no hassle.
Very unlikely. They sit completely inside your ear canal and are virtually invisible. At just 2g and smaller than your fingertip, most people won't notice them at all.
They're built with noise reduction to keep sound clean, and the 12 included ear tips (3 sizes, including anti-whistling tips) let you get a snug seal (a loose seal is the main cause of whistling). Get the fit right and the whistle stays away.
No. Certus One works completely on its own. Just charge, pop them in and set the volume by hand. No app, no Bluetooth pairing, no account.
Yes. Charge them in the included case (like wireless earbuds). A full charge lasts up to 16 hours, and the case tops them up about 4 times when you're out, up to 60 hours in total.
They're designed for mild-to-moderate hearing loss and everyday situations: conversation, phone, television. For profound loss, a prescription aid is the right route, and we'd rather be honest than oversell.
A real hearing aid. Certus One is a certified OTC (over-the-counter) hearing aid for mild-to-moderate hearing loss. That is a regulated category with real requirements behind it. Cheap 'sound amplifiers' simply make everything louder; Certus's ClearVoice™ processing lifts speech and pushes background noise down, so you hear the words, not the room.
Because you are not paying for the building. A private prescription pair costs $2,000–$6,000 largely due to clinic overheads, appointments and fitting fees. Certus One ships straight to your door, fits itself with 12 ear tips, and you get 90 days at home to prove it does the job.
Original Medicare does not cover hearing aids, and most plans pay little or nothing toward them. Some Medicare Advantage plans include a hearing benefit, so it is worth checking yours. Certus One is sold direct and is not billed to insurance, which is a large part of why it costs a fraction of a clinic pair. And hearing aids, including OTC pairs like Certus One, are a qualified medical expense under IRS rules, so you can pay with HSA or FSA funds. Every order includes an itemized receipt by email, ready for reimbursement or your records.
Every order is free, fully tracked and insured, and your tracking link arrives by email the moment it leaves us.
90-day no-questions returns. Send them back for a full refund, no hassle. Covered by a 2-year guarantee.
